WOODEN PALLET, 0.8x1.2x0.1m, ISO type, treated CH 10.00 20kg 0,145m³ Add

General information

  • For transportation and storage of all types of goods.
  • It allows loading/offloading with forklifts and pallet trolley.
  • It is often used to keep goods away from the ground (i.e. food items).
  • The quality of the wood and other materials used, as well as the workmanship and treatment, will define the durability of the pallet to resist to multiple handlings, moisture and wood infestation.
  • Internationally recognized and normalized conventional pallet sizes are:
  • 80 x 120 x 14,4 cm (47.2 x 31.5 x 5.7 in), “EPAL, Europallet, or EUR1”,
  • 100 x 120 x 14.4 cm (39.37 x 47.24 x 5.7 in), “EUR2”,
  • 120 x 120 cm (47.24 x 47.24 in)
  • These standard pallets sizes leave some floor space unused when loaded into shipping containers: a 40 foot container will hold 23 to 24 Europallets (15% lost floor space) or 20 to 21 type 100 x 120cm pallets (6.7% lost floor space).
  • A 20 foot container will hold 11 type 80 x 120 cm pallets, and  9 to 10 type 100 x 120 cm pallets.
  • A North American standard GMA pallet size 40 x 48 in (1016 x 1219 cm) also exists. These measures leave less empty floor space in shipping containers: 10 pallets in a 20 foot container, 20 in a 40 foot container (3.7% lost floor space).
  • Larger pallet dimensions are more difficult to pass through doors and buildings.
  • When stacking laden pallets on a solid, even surface, the bottommost pallet must not exceed a load of maximum 5 500 kg.
