General information
Lever-operated lift pump for depth settings of up to 60 metres.
- SWN 80, suitable for depths of up to 40 metres.
- SWM 90, suitable for depths of up to 60 metres.
For depths of up to 40m, SWN 80 uses a combination of a 1”1/2-thick wall, a high-impact PVC riser, together with a 10mm stainless steel pump rod, protected by a polyethylene sleeve.
For depths of up to 60m, the SWN 90, due to the stretching and snaking of the PVC riser pipes, uses a glass fibre riser and rod combination. Pipe dimensions 46x36mm; rod dimensions 12mm: all with threaded connections; suitable for potable water; and high resistance to corrosion, chemicals, pressure, temperature, shocks and torsion.
Pump performance:
- 2" cylinder, 0.4l litre/per stroke.
- 2”1/2 cylinder, 0.5l litre/per stroke.
- 3" cylinder, 0.7l litre/per stroke.
Optional pump stand with pressure unit: A high quality pressure unit, of standard construction, can be installed on every SWN pump stand to facilitate overhead tank filling.
- Meets VLOM (village level operated maintenance) requirements.
- Minimum borehole diameter:100mm.
Specifications
- Pump head (A) is of sturdy construction, hot-dip galvanized head, with oversized bearings: bearing housings are suitable for both ball and journal bearings.
- Pump stand (B), supporting the pump head, is completely hot-dip galvanized, with the inside protected by a thick layer of bituminous coating.
- The riser and rod combination (D) with a 1”1/2-thick wall, high-impact PVC riser, together with a 10mm stainless steel pump rod is protected by a polyethylene sleeve.
- SWN 80 riser and rod combinations are available in lengths of 4, 3, 2, 1.5 and 0.75m.
