Special fuel for turbine engines: for turbo-prop airplane engines only.
Where required, Jet A1 fuel combined with engine oil (at 3% of the mixture) can be used in vehicles with diesel engines. It can also be used as antifreeze for diesel (to a maximum of 50%).
Do not store Jet A1 fuel next to residential areas or places of work. Stored fuels must be protected from the sun, be well ventilated, and in an area free of flammable materials. An extinguisher and sand must be positioned in close proximity.
Drums of Jet A1 fuel must be from a known origin, sealed, undamaged and not expired. A pilot has the right to refuse refuelling where there is any doubt as to the quality of the fuel.

Do not store fuels with oils and/or tyres as a fire safety measure.
Specifications
Jet A1 fuel: free from water, dust or other contaminates; in new drums sealed at the refinery; or in bulk in compliance with international fuel regulations and standards.
