General information
The Fuchs-Rosenthal counting chamber is used to count white and red blood cells in CSF by observing them through a microscope on a calibrated grid, the exact dimensions of which are known.
Used for trypanosomiasis; two counts require two preparations for the same sample.
After it has been placed in a wet chamber, allow the liquid to settle before counting.
