General information

Standard tent for emergency field health centre, storage, short term accommodation, etc…This type of tent is especially designed for its resistance to wind, rain, micro-organisms.

Expected life span of 1 year in tropical environment, more with a locally made double roof. Disinfecting with high chlorine concentration will damage the canvas (0.2% concentration is a maximum).

Setting up requires 6 persons, and take 30 min (instructions included). Avoid setting it up under trees as this will lead to canvas rotting. Use all ground fixings to ensure the maximum wind resistance. Does not include ground sheet, can be made with plastic tarpaulins, or ordered separately.

Cool the inside temperature with a locally made double roof, or a shade netting.

Several tents can be assembled in line with the built-in connection strip.

Selection of types and manufacturers is to be handled by HQ technical and purchasing departments. Full specifications can be obtained at your HQ. The specifications below defines the minimum quality for the main material of the tent. Adherence to these specifications is a good indication for pre-selecting interested manufacturers.
