The Spanish Red Cross Basic Health Care Unit comprises to the purpose and general capacity of the standard ERU BHC described in the standard BHC information page.
Specifications
This emergency Unit has a principal capacity of up to 30.000 population served, using a new modular approach with 3 different modules. In this sense there are three different modules available 5.000, 10.000 and 30.000, according to location, number of beneficiaries, type of intervention, health and care services required.
These types of modules have a part of the team and equipment being mobile, allowing us to give the most effective response adjusted to the needs of the variable contexts.
The modules conform to Sphere and WHO standards access to health facilities.
The Modules can be deployed separately or together, based on need.
