General information

Rigid, removable cervical collar; protects by immobilization the cervical spine. Available in 5 different sizes children to adults; or one-size adjustable for adults and one-size adjustable for children.

Specifications

The extrication collar is a rigid and adjustable one-piece cervical spine immobilization device.

Neck Shell:	Radiotransparent materials: polyethylene lined with foam.
	Posterior part, ventilated for fluid drainage.
	Front opening, large, provides access to check pulse or for advanced airway procedures.
Chin:	Pre-shaped (chin support flips up for flat storage)
Strap:	Nylon fast-stick fabric (Velcro) for quick closure and accurate sizing.
	Colour coded; however, colour has not yet been standardized.
Size:	Fixed sizes XSEQSPLICE01-XSEQSPLICE06 - six different sizes from one to six, each colour-coded.
	- 1 infant, 2 paediatric, 3 neckless, 4 short, 5 regular, and 6 tall
	Adjustable sizing:
	- Adult XSEQSPLICEA: four sizes with colour-coded positions: size 3 neckless, 4 short, 5 regular, and 6 tall with multiple adjustments
