General information
KCOMMASTHOLD: Complete guy kit for a 10m-high mast. Requires a hammer drill with concrete drill bits. Good quality items are required to ensure safe installation of the mast. Where purchased locally, check tensile strength and UV resistance of the rope.
CHFBMAST10M and CHFBMAST7.30M: Telescopic aluminum masts made of high-tensile aluminum elements, suitable for all kinds of antennas. Total height is 10m with 7 telescopic elements (CHFBMAST10M) or 7.3m with 5 telescopic elements (CHFBMAST7.30M). Base diameter is 70mm, diameter at the top is 40mm. The antenna clamp must be adapted to the mast diameter at the top of the mast: 40 or 45mm. Local materials (e.g., bamboo, trees, water pipes, etc.) or locally-made triangular masts may also suffice.
CTOOSAFICLIMBHA: Safety harness for climbing and working in suspended position. Side belt loops allow for easier positioning. Twin-lanyard with carabiner hooks for climbing (alternate securing) and positioning when working suspended. Adjustable anchorage rope for securing and positioning. Two slings for anchoring the carabiner hooks on thick structures.

Any damaged parts must be made unusable and replaced by new ones. Shock absorbers must be replaced after an event that has activated them has occurred.
Any repairs by non-qualified persons or companies are absolutely prohibited.
Carabiner hooks are only guaranteed nominal strength if strain is in line with the hook itself (for fall arresting usually downwards). Therefore, never fix carabiners in positions, where the strain in case of falling is exerting any sidewards force on the hook, as it may break. Use the slings where necessary to allow carabiner hooks to swivel in the direction of strain.

CHFBANTEISOLAT: Antenna end-isolator for antenna wire as well as guy-wires.
Made from solid plastic, UV resistant. The two wires/ropes are crossing, so that even in case the isolator would break, the wires/ropes would not fall. The diameter of the holes is big enough for at least 8mm rope diameter.
Replaces former article “CHFBANTEISOEND ANTENNA, end isolator WI82” which is no longer available.

CHFBDIVEHOOK1: Very strong high quality hook-screw with straight M12 thread, combined with metallic plug and nut with washer to allow tightening without twisting the hook. Allows strong anchoring in concrete or solid brick wall.
Used mainly for antenna mast guy wire. Can withstand strong pull from the guy wire(s), the strength of the available walls to implant this plug will often be the limiting factor.

CHFBMASTTURN: Also called a “strainer” or “wire tensioner”.
Used to strain antenna guy wires (steel or Kevlar, not for rope).
M8, Zinc galvanized steel, max. 3.5kN load.
Do not pass guy wire through it without a thimble (CHFBMASTEYELET), lest you will risk the guy wire to break.
