Emergency Response Units, Kits, Modules, Sets

Ready packed assemblies of standard items for situation where reactivity is the key element.

  1. -      Pre-packing allows planning and preparedness that reduce the impact of a crisis.
  2. -      Emergency stocks are constituted with kits and modules.
  3. -      Content lists are based on identified frequently arising needs, and regularly revised.
  4. -      Quick re-supply of consumables is possible with the modular system.

The Emergency Response Units (ERU) consist in pre-packed equipment and trained personnel, ready for immediate action, kept by National Societies.

Thanks to send your feedback to your Technical dpt to support the kit revision process.

A set is the smallest assembly. It is most of the time used as a sub-part of a kit or a module. It is designed to supply items for one function only.

A module is a division of a large assembly. It allows a modular usage of the large assembly. It is designed to split the needs of a large activity into easier-to-manage sub-parties.

A kit is an assembly that covers the complete needs of one specific activity. A kit is stand alone.

ERU, Emergency Response Unit

An ERU is a large assembly of supplies, services and personnel. It is designed to respond to all actions resulting from one particular situation. An ERU is self-sufficient for one month.
