General information

Low dead space Heat and Moisture Exchange filter (HME)  intended for  neonate and children under 15kg (tidal volume25-100ml) MSF Explanation

The filter minimizes the risk of cross transmission of bacteria and/or viruses between patient using the same anaesthetic breathing system

Single use, this product is intended to be replaced at least once every 24 hours.

Should be positioned as close as possible to the patient end so to protect the rest of the breathing system

Specification

The filter, Heat & Moisture Exchanger (HME) with viral and bacterial protection is a medical device to protect the patient respiratory tract from dryness and to minimize risk of cross infections.
