General information
A strainer is recommended to prevent solid materials from entering the pump.
A 5mm strainer is the maximum recommended for filtering out solid materials in Red Cross Red Crescent standard raw water pumps.
Should include a foot valve.
Cast brass body with stainless steel wire mesh makes an efficient strainer.
Available in the usual sizes. A 3″ strainer is included in the standard 2″ and 3″ motor pump kits.
