General information
Heavy-duty bladder tank; fitted on a flatbed truck or used as a normal storage tank.
The truck platform should be a minimum of 4m long by 2m wide.
Trucks with low body-panels on the sides, as opposed to an unprotected platform, are preferred.
Dimensions of the truck’s platform should be equivalent to at least those of the empty tank.
The tank is fitted with heavy-duty 50mm polyester straps.
Specifications
Flexible tank: heavy-duty, for drinking water, quality PVC-coated polyester.
Specifically-designed for high-pressure resistance, for use on a tanker truck.
Threaded outlet:
- 2x2″ BSP (ICRC standard).
- 2x3″ BSP (International Federation ERU standard).
Fitted, at a minimum, with 2 heavy-duty polyester webbing straps, plus 2 straps per end.
Strap ends terminate with eyeholes and/or loops, used to secure the tank.
Anti-chafe patches.
Overpressure release valves with rubber plugs.
Dimensions:
- 5m3 tank: 4.45x2.21m or 4.50x2.60m (dependent on manufacturer).
Packaging as per IATA regulations UN1133 (for the glue) and UN1263 (for the thinner).
