General information

A car jack can be used to lift a vehicle for changing a wheel. It is also used to lift a vehicle stuck in sand or in mud.

Trolley jack are mainly used in workshop to lift vehicles for repair and maintenance.

Different types are adapted to different use. All jacks have a maximum capacity; a car jack cannot lift a truck.

All lifting devices are dangerous to use. It is strictly forbidden to go under any type of charge lifted up by a car jack. It is mandatory to use appropriate stands to ensure the lifted charge will not fall.

Hilift jack can be fitted to a Land Cruiser by means of a special support, see options.
