General information

To expose and view the larynx and surrounding structures, used in orotracheal and nasotracheal intubations.

Used for anaesthetic and resuscitation.

Operated by an experienced personnel.

Materials:

Handle: stainless steel or chromium-plated, slightly rigged.

 

Depressor and laryngoscope blade: stainless steel, curved or straight.

 

Complete, ready-to-use, the laryngoscope is L-shaped so that the handle and batteries are at a right angle to the blade.

 

Illumination: battery compartment in the handle, lamp positioned on the blade.
